The Ombudsman (ef), María Luisa Cava de Llano has asked women claiming real equality to men and to claim that, in the same merits, are treated the same way. The International Women's Day, has also stressed that each year, part of the resolutions of the institution he presides are intended to prevent discrimination against women in all areas.

Cava de Llano was intended to send a message to all women not to resign themselves to bear the burden so many others dragged before. In his opinion, and although women have made great progress, much remains to be done, particularly in regards the most vulnerable. Women victims

therefore urged that in a day like this do not forget to women who are victims of abuse just for being women. They are victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and trafficking.

The Ombudsman has expressed special concern for women and immigrant girls who come to Spain in small boats and are invisible to society. A situation that makes them extremely vulnerable and become potential victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation. As he reported the Advocate, to prepare a report thereon with Case intention to see the light before the end of the year, the society should not ignore these women invisible, turned into slaves, and terrible living conditions.
